From fresh vegetables and fruits to creamy cheeses and beers, the northwest corner of Vermont is rich with local food. Our hardworking farmers, bakers, brewers, and chefs are committed to feeding our community. And their products can be found through farm stands, local Farmers' Markets, and at stores and restaurants across the region.

The Northwest Vermont Grown Guide was developed by South Hero Land Trust, in partnership with the Healthy Roots Collaborative, a regional food systems program supporting growers, producers, and consumers in Franklin and Grand Isle County. Healthy Roots provides programs and services for both consumers and producers with a focus on food education, access and infrastructure.

We hope you’ll enjoy exploring all of our amazing farms and food businesses!

Looking for a print guide?

South Hero Land Trust creates an annual print guide for Grand Isle County to go along with the online guide. Free copies are available at farmstands and retail locations throughout the Islands, and at the Champlain Islands Farmers’ Market. The guide usually comes out in late spring.
