Isle la Motte Community Kitchen Exploratory Survey

Healthy Roots Collaborative and South Hero Land Trust are working with producers and farmers to look into the feasibility of using the commercial kitchen at the Isle La Motte Elementary School as a shared space for making value-added products.

As you may know, the school was recently closed down, and there is some energy being directed into finding a good use for the space that benefits local businesses and the community. Seven Days wrote an article about it, click HERE>> if you want to learn more of the backstory.

The dimensions of the commercial kitchen are 22’x18’ and located at 42 School St in Isle La Motte. As a part of that process, we are reaching out to potential producers to see their interest in using that location and what they would need (in terms of equipment and access) in order for it to be a usable space.

If you are interested in learning more and/or potentially being involved, please CLICK HERE>> to fill out the exploratory survey.

Feel free to reach out to Christine Porcaro from the Healthy Roots Collaborative (cporcaro@nrpcvt.com), if you have any questions.
